Thinking Digital Conference 22 & 23 May 2008
This forthcoming conference will be looking at the future of technology, media & mobile.
The conference takes place in the Sage, Newcastle, Gateshead on 22 & 23 May with a preconference bonus taking place in the afternoon and evening of 21 May.
The conference will feature 27 speakers over 2.5 days including:
- Greg Dyke, former BBC Director General & current Chair of the BFI
- The Fake Steve Jobs, a.k.a. Dan Lyons, the senior editor of Forbes magazine and the man behind satirical blog, The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs
- Dan Pink, Al Gore's former speechwriter and author of bestselling A Whole New Mind
- Doug Richard, founder of Library House and former BBC2 Dragon
- Ray Kurzweil, legendary futurist who predicts that computer intelligence will exceed that of humans by 2029
- Sean Phelan, founder of Multimap.com
- Steve Clayton, CTO of Microsoft's UK Partner Group
- Aubrey de Grey, controversial geneticist who's working on a cure for ageing
- Lee Daley, former CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi UK
