The Technology Strategy Board, an organisation that has been created to drive technological innovation in the UK, has boosted its contribution to a project that helps to ensure that specialist knowledge is transferred between the business and research worlds. TECH BUS TOURS: CONNECTING TECHNOLOGY COMMUNITIES
....Tech Bus Tour #1: Thinking Digital Conference, Gateshead....
The first ever Tech Bus Tour offered a key group of Thinking Digital Delegates from Liverpool the opportunity to travel to the conference (which took place in Gateshead) in a luxurious coach with Wifi access. The main focus of taking advantage of this method of travel was to network with like minded individuals stopping in Manchester and Leeds, picking up tech types along the way The idea was a great success and will be offered in association with other digital-related conferences in the future. Tech Bus Tours is an initiative between ICDC and Liverpool based technology consultancy Kisky Netmedia and aims to connect technology communities across the UK starting from Merseyside.
